What should I bring on my fishing trip?
We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, comfortable non-slip shoes, and any personal medications. We provide all fishing equipment, bait, ice, drinks, and fish cleaning. You're welcome to bring snacks or a cooler for your catch.
Do I need a fishing license?
No, all necessary licenses are covered under our charter license. You're fishing under our license, so no additional permits are required.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety is our priority. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule your trip or provide a full refund. We monitor weather closely and will contact you if changes are needed.
Can I keep the fish I catch?
Yes! We clean and bag your catch at no extra charge. We follow all Florida fishing regulations and size limits to ensure sustainable fishing practices.
Is the boat suitable for children?
Absolutely! Our 43-foot Merritt is stable and safe for all ages. We have life jackets for children and can adjust fishing techniques for younger anglers. Many families fish with us regularly.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through our FareHarbor booking system. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due on the day of your trip.
How many people can fish at once?
The Just Cuz can comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers. For larger groups, we can arrange multiple trips or recommend other options.
Do you provide food and drinks?
We provide bottled water and ice. You're welcome to bring snacks, lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages. We have a refrigerator on board for storage.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours notice for cancellations to receive a full refund. Within 48 hours, deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a future booking within 6 months.
Are tips included?
Tips are not included but greatly appreciated by our crew. A standard tip is 15-20% of the charter cost, similar to restaurant service.
